The EVI specification is MIT-licensed.
Any organization can implement it, publish scores against it, or audit against it. The reference implementation produces a reproducible, deterministic score against any 25-query corpus.
This is deliberate. A standard that requires proprietary tooling to evaluate is not a standard — it is vendor lock-in. The bureau's role is to publish the spec, maintain the benchmark dataset, and operate the certification registry. Not to control the score.

Because self-serve audits consume significant LLM compute, we do not offer refunds on completed scans. If a scan fails to execute due to our infrastructure, we will issue a full refund automatically.
